Please find attached a revised timetable from Centrebus as a result of the consultation of Centrebus cutting their service to Woodhouse and Woodhouse Eaves.

Road Closure on Beacon Road 13th - 15th Nov

A temporary road closure is required on Beacon Road from 13th November till 15th November 2019 (09:30 hours till 15:30 hours each day).

The road will be closed between the junction of B591 Copt Oak Road and B5330 Shepshed Road.

Urgent roadworks with lights - Bull's head junction

Western Power doing urgent roadworks to repair electric fault - hopefully short-term. Delays of course to 154 bus service and normal traffic. Patience is a virtue.

From The Brand to Main Street, Swithland - for highways repairs to a bridge over a stream. Diversions in place, which the 154 bus service will have to use. Local residents can ask the Good neighbour scheme for transport help - call 0756 189 0100 between 9am and 7pm the day before your journey.

Bring your non-recycling items to the car park

Your local recycling 'What's App' group will collect non-recyclable items from Saturday, 5 October, from 10-12: pet food sachets, crisp packets, biscuit wrappers, toothpaste tubes and toothbrush packaging. All washed clean please.

Buses - latest we know

While the road is closed (and I think the earliest it will open will be Tues 3rd), the Direct Response Taxi (see the County Council notices attached to bus-stops) will continue.

HOWEVER – THERE WILL BE A BUS ALLOWED THROUGH FOR THE CHILDREN TO GET TO SCHOOL (including DeLisle bus), and one FOR THEM TO RETURN. These buses are generally fairly full.
