County trophy semi final football match in Woodhouse Eaves

Satuday 2 Feb at 1.45 Woodhouse Imperial FC play a Leicester team in the County Trophy semi-final. Imps 1st and 2nd teams have both reached semi-finals so come along to show the community's support for both players and volunteers.

Big Switch On with Hathern Youth Band

Come along at 5pm on Friday 14 December to hear the brass band play Christmas carols and see the tree lights switched on in the car park by the child who won the poster competition. All welcome - this is a family affair.

Annual Horticultural & Craft Show - Woodhouse Eaves

From 2 - 5 p.m. the Show is open for you to visit entries & see who's won - fruit, veg, flowers, cakes, photos, paintings & home made crafts created by local people. At 7 p.m. prizes are presented & the popular auction of produce takes over. Bring your own refreshments, children, friends and family to enjoy the fun.

Beacon Hill Countryside Show

Bank Holiday Monday is the Countryside Show on Beacon Hill. Lots to see and do for all ages from 09:30 - 5pm. Dog agility, tree climbing, crafts, mountain bikes, chainsaw carving, birds of prey, heavy horse demos, music and food. May Day Challenge

May Day Challenge

This huge local event will see 500+ runners and walkers in the parish from early until soon after lunchtime. It starts on the village hall car park and ends on the King George V playing field. It is well-signed and marshalled and mainly off-road.
