The Parish Council has 3 halls in Woodhouse Eaves: the Parish Hall, the Annexe and the King George V Room. All are served by a public car park for around 35 vehicles - and street parking outside is also available. The location address is 50 Main Street, Woodhouse Eaves, Loughborough LE12 8RZ
The best halls for children's parties are the Annexe and the King George V Room - both have tables and chairs suitable for children.
All party bookings now carry a compulsory £50 deposit. This is returned as long as you leave the room in good shape. It takes up to a couple of weeks for the system to refund your account.
Lettings fees are reviewed annually (usually in November) and raised to the level of the Consumer Prices Index at that time - the changes are applied to new bookings from January.

The buildings are adjacent to a children's play area, two tennis courts, a teenage games court, and a large playing field with cricket and football pitches. Local shops nearby include a pharmacy, newsagent, butcher and grocer.
Anyone wishing to sell alcohol at an event must complete a licence application to cover our premises. Two copies must be sent to the Borough Council and one copy to the Police [addresses are on the form below] and there is a small fee. Wi fi is available free - the access code is pinned up in all buildings.
In between all bookings we allow a 15 minute gap for checking the building before the next user. Please tell us of anything that needs fixing.

Use this form if you plan to sell alcohol at your event and please send a copy to or inform the parish council at the same time. Please note that you must NOT sell alcohol below a permitted price. Bookings for special calendar dates e.g. New Year's Eve will only be accepted after 1 January in the same year. Full payment required at the time of booking special dates.
Capacity 100 at the tables [20] with the chairs / 120 close seating, 200 standing
Dimensions 13.7m x 8.2 or 9.7m either side of room divider. Stage is 8.2m x 3.9m
[45ft x 27 or 32 either side of room divider. Stage is 27ft x 13ft.
Facilities [please specify when booking] Stage lighting [see instructions below], sound system, hearing loop*, large wide-screen remote-controlled projection screen, Blu-ray projector, free Wifi, Kitchen with new dual fuel cooker, fridge, crockery and glasses. If you wish to use the projector please check compatibility with our equipment in advance.
This is a well-equipped hall with an excellent Maple dance floor.
Drinks [alcoholic] No charges or licence needed if patrons bring their own but a Temporary Events Notice is required if alcohol is to be sold [see above]

Hall £13.56 per hour including set up time.

Sunday fairs £169.00 per day.
Rummage sales are now charged by the hour.
Art exhibitions for whole weekend Saturday/Sunday £225.50.
Minimum 1.5 hours charge on Saturdays, 4 hours on Sundays. Parties require a refundable damage/cleaning deposit of £50 (refunded within 14 days of use)

Annexe

£9.04 per hour including set up time.

The Annexe has small chairs and low tables for little children as well as adult tables and chairs. Tables: 12 rectangular 3' x 2' ; two 5' x 2' ; one 6' x 2' and 2 circular 4'
The main hall area is 7.6m wide x 11m long [25ft x 39ft]. The rear fire door opens onto the children's play area.
Facilities Kitchen area with kettle, sink etc. Small oven & microwave, Fridge, Chairs and tables to seat 40, Crockery for 40

King George V Room


The King George V Room costs £11.30 per hour.
Minimum booking time of 1.5 hours per booking. All bookings need to have a Risk Assessment in place at time of booking.
Minimum 1.5 hours charge on Saturdays and Sundays. Parties require a refundable damage/cleaning deposit of £50 (refunded within 14 days of use)
Exhibitions for whole weekend Saturday/Sunday £153.75.
It has a full kitchen with cooker and fridge, some crockery and cutlery, standard and disabled toilets. It is accessible from the car park.
If you want the car park to be closed for a special booking e.g. a wedding, there will be a charge. You must provide a marshal at the entrance.
Capacity: 60 seated at the tables [15] with the chairs / 110 close seating / 6.6m wide x 12.8m long [21ft x 42ft]
Extras: 24 children's chairs and 3 child-height round tables
Facilities: [please specify when booking Free Wifi, electric screen, projector and speaker. An amplifier and microphone are also available. If you wish to use the projector please check compatibility with our equipment in advance.
